Obituary of Jimmy Prystupa
Peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family at NHS St Catharines Site on October 10th 2023, at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Carole (nee: Corner). He will be lovingly remembered by his girls (curls) Kelly (Bob) Foster, Paula (the late Michael) Kozachenko and Karen Sawicki (Steve Vendittelli). He will be forever remembered by his grandchildren Katie (Alex) and Mitchell (Josie) Sawicki, James Foster (Denise), Alex Carbonara, Gregory and Valerie Kozachenko. He took great pride and joy in being a Great Grandfather to Michael, Faith, Mathew and Campbell. He is survived by his loving brother Johnny (Linda) and was pre deceased by his siblings Millie Antoniuk and Bill Prystupa. He is also survived by his sweetheart Elizabeth Lawrason.
The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday October 17th from 12pm-1pm followed by a celebration of life at 1pm at St Johns Ukrainian Church, 91 Lakeshore Road, St Catharines. At Jimmy's request, cremation has taken place. A private burial will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St John's Ukrainian Catholic Church (Kitchen), Walker Family Cancer Centre, or Hospice Niagara in Jimmy's memory.
