Obituary of John Zahos

Ioannis (John) Zahos Passed peacefully on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the age of 96. Loving husband of the late Aikaterina (Kathy) Zahos. Beloved father of Toula and her husband George Zis, and Manta Zahos. Cherished Grandfather of Anastasia, Spiros and Yianni. Family and friends will be received on Monday, September 11th from 4-8pm at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. The First Thrice Holy Hymn Service/Trisagio will be held that evening at 7pm.  The Second Thrice Holy Hymn Service/Trisagio will occur, with the ensuing Funeral Service, on Tuesday, September 12th , 2023 at St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church at 11am. The Final Thrice Holy Hymn Service/Trisagio and Burial will occur at Victoria Lawn Cemetery following the Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations in Ioanni’s (John’s) memory be made to St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church.
