Obituary of Linda Aline Belanger

BELANGER, Linda  (nee Sadler) - With broken hearts we had to say goodbye to our Mum, on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 in her 76th year. Mom passed away peacefully surrounded by Love. Linda was born in London,England on November 17th, 1947 to Maurice and Joyce Sadler. When Linda was 10 years old, she immigrated to Canada with her family. Linda was predeceased by her younger sister Raye (Lorraine) Elmslie and she is survived by her younger brother Maurice and Heather Sadler of Orangeville. Linda is survived by her children Philip (Cindy Dymond) Gamsby, Sonia (Phil) Leggett and Angela (Billy) Gamsby- Puttick. She leaves behind her grandchildren Ryan (Lizzie), Josh (Brittany) and Ashley Gamsby, Brett (Marissa) Leggett, Sarah (Will) Leggett and Noah and Elina Gamsby. She is survived by her 3 great granddaughters Evie, Ivy and Elsie, as well as her very special bonus granddaughters Tara and Shayna Belanger, who meant the absolute world to Mum. She will be left to mourn by her daughter in law and special friend Joy Belanger and her step son AL Belanger who were both very special to Mum. Mum leaves behind her fur babies Bear, JJ, Pixie, Sassy and Patches. She has many nephews and nieces that she thought the world of. Linda had a love for all animals, crafts, bingo and reading. The family would like to thank the staff at Woodlands of Sunset for all of their care and compassion that Mum received over the past couple of months. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date by the family. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Wainfleet, where she and her Nana, Elvey Ely will be laid to rest.
