Obituary of Marcel Harvey Larabie

Passed away peacefully at home Friday August 11, 2023, at the age of 77. He was a loving husband to Pamela Larabie. Survived by loving brothers’ Raymond Larabie and Gerry Larabie. Uncle to Dale Larabie (Marie Murdoch).
After Pam passed Marcel enjoyed filling the house with flowers and keeping the bird feeders full. He loved visiting Dale his nephew, and his dog Dakota. She brought so much joy to his life. Every time he came over, he would bring treats and her favourite toy, the tennis ball. He always said she was waiting for him; She always brought smiles to his face, a smile that will not be forgotten.
Marcel and Pam moved in together in June 1984 to their house on McKay Street and it took more than once asking her to marry him before she finally agreed. They were married on February 3, 1995 in Niagara Falls in a chapel with just three guests in a very intimate ceremony. They held the reception at the Americana.
Marcel and Pamela enjoyed entertaining company in the basement of their home, where they had built a bar; making it feel like the 50’s playing old country music and rock’n’roll. They spent much of their time visiting flea markets together, browsing around and buying trinkets.
Marcel will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines Ontario. Family will receive visitors at George Darte Funeral Chapel on Monday August 21st 2023, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, and a Memorial service Tuesday August 22nd 2023 at 11:00 AM.
