Obituary of Barbara Jean Verna Steinert

Barbara passed away at St. Catharines Hospital on July 18, 2023 at the age of 70.  Cherished wife of Peter, loving mother to Michael (Jennifer), Proud grandmother of Eva and Madeleine, Dear sister to Rick (Barbara), loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Leslie and Jean Anderson.

Barbara had the spirit of an artist; her creativity knew no bounds. She had many hobbies that she shared with her loved ones. She had a passion for finding the best deals. Barbara showered her grandchildren with her expressions of love, whether they liked it or not. Although she had many health challenges, she lived life to the fullest. She will be missed deeply by all.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. By the family’s wishes cremation has already taken place. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to a charity of  your own choosing
