Marsha Mako

Obituary of Marsha Lynn Mako

Marsha Lynn Mako

April 10, 1978 - June 27, 2023 (45 years young)

Much loved mommy of Arabella Klassen.  Beloved daughter of Larry and Barbara Mako. Survived by:  Brother Marty Mako(Vanessa), Veronique Anot, Sister-in-law, nieces; Lyla Mako, Chloe Mako, Hailey Andrews, nephew Zach Andrews, Uncle Paul Beswick(Melinda), Uncle Erwin Mako(Sandy), Aunt Irene Bucknall (Jim), Aunt Ruth Nikkel(Allister), many cousins, and special friend, Brad Klassen (Arabella's father)

Despite the many challenging lifelong health issues which Marsha faced head on, she somehow maintained a positive outlook on life.  Marsha loved to laugh, and it was contagious! She sincerely cared about helping others during her all-to-short time with us, such as volunteering at Hospice Niagara, and caring for her mom, Barbara, when she was recently released from Shaver Hospital.  Marsha had a special love for animals -- cats, bunnies, and her horse, Jay.  She rescued and loved many cats in her lifetime -- always gravitating to the animals in need.  Marsha loved her friends and found great joy in her Facebook updates with them.  She also had a "way with words", and used this talent to post excellent Facebook postings.

Her #1 fan was her fantastic daughter, Arabella.  They enjoyed many Facebook postings featuring both of them.  Marsha loved Arabella so, so much and showed it in so many ways.  Bella is fortunate that her mom left her many happy memories of their times spent together.  While Marsha's sudden, unexpected death leaves a HUGE hole in our hearts, and much sadness, I hope that in time we all will find comfort in the memories of the many happy, fun times spent with her.  We are abiding by Marsha's wish to be cremated.  There will be no service or visitation.  A private family interment is planned.  Marsha would like us to laugh, so a celebration of Marsha's life will take place at a future date, and all who knew and loved Marsha will be welcome to come and share your memories with us.  Donations to haecanada.org or Canadian Mental Health would be appreciated.
