Obituary of Kyle Dean DeBon
Kyle DeBon; “Karl”, “DeBo”, “Brother”
September 21 1989 - June 14 2023
It is painful to announce the passing of our dear son, brother and friend, at the age of 33. Adored by his "Ma", Jill, and step-dad, Rick Currie. Brother to Jeff and Kevin DeBon. Lifelong best friend to Kim Cleland who was by his side with “The Boys”, ‘MacDon’, ‘Richie’, ‘DeRosa’, ‘Carrelli’, ‘Big Cat-Reid’, ‘Vach’, ‘LaMothe’ & “Best boss ever” Mark Fluellon.
Kyle was an all-around good guy, loyal with a great sense of humour! He had a kind heart and cared so deeply about everyone in his life. He was always the first one to offer help and an ear to listen. Through good times and bad, he was never too busy for the ones he loved. Kyle loved dogs, fishin’, watching basketball, football and was a proud fan of the Toronto Raptors & New Orleans Saints! “Karl” was a great cook. He worked tirelessly and made lifelong friends from the kitchens he worked in. He will be forever missed by his work families at Manhattans, Kelseys, Perkins, and most recently Doughboys.
Kyle’s family and friends will receive guests on Monday, June 19th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton Street. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Lincoln County Humane Society or The Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program (which is committed to ensuring kids in need have equal access to sports and physical activities.) in Kyle's memory would be appreciated by his family.
