Obituary of Albert Henry Salomons

SALOMONS, Albert (June 26 1956 - May 17, 2023) - With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Albert Salomons after complications from a stroke. Beloved father of Rachel (Vince) and Jason (Teresa). Cherished son of Carole ( the late Larry Anderson) and Albert "Red"( Darlene Salomons). Brother of Glenn, Jeff "Toe" and Amanda. Loving Uncle of Courtney, Victoria, Jillian, Kayleigh, Jon and the late Christopher. Great Uncle of Shaun, Ethan and Harrison. Special friend to Val and Mike Sullivan. Brother in law of Sylvia and the late Don Shaw. Albert was employed as an Iron Pourer at Dana Brake Parts for several years. He was an avid reader who loved being outdoors, fishing and camping. Albert also loved travelling. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, May 23rd from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Celebration of Albert's Life will take place on Wednesday, May 24th at 11a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
