Obituary of Eugene Clair Rouselle

Eugene (Gene) Rouselle passed away in St. Catharines on May 14th, 2023 at the age of 87. He is predeceased by his wife Joan to whom he was married for 39 years. He is survived by his children, Kevin (Deborah), Darren, Adele (Scott), his loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and his partner of 23 years, Glenda Lee.

Gene was ever proud of being from the small town of Mac Tier, Ontario where he visited often as it never left his heart. He was an avid sports fan following almost any sport. He was a proud lifetime member of the OASA since 1984. If you met Gene, he never forgot you and he would somehow find a connection to you or your family. No one told a story like Gene as he never forgot a name or detail. If you knew him, you loved him. In his words, "I've lived a good life".

The Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St., on Friday, May 19th,  from 11- 1pm. A Final Tribute for Eugene will follow in the Ceremony Room of the funeral home at 1pm. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations made in Eugene's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
