Obituary of Jeffery Adam McKinnon
The families of Jeffery Adam McKinnon announce with broken hearts that Jeff passed away at home in Welland on Saturday April 29 in his 47th year. The unbearable loss is felt grievously by his daughters Avery and Brianna, his life partner Linda LaJeunesse, his mother Linda McKinnon, his father Jeff McKinnon and his stepfather Barry Joe, his sister Rebecca Martin (Drew) and their daughters Jersey and Skylar, and his large extended family of McKinnons and Bradleys.
Jeff had just completed a three-year degree at Niagara College in Broadcasting, and during his studies, he became known as “Jack” McKinnon. He kept that nickname professionally. Jeff “Jack” McKinnon had been employed by Bell Media as a producer/operator at CKTB and HTZ.FM. Broadcasting was his professional passion, music was his personal joy.
He was our son, our doting father, our caring partner, our big brother, our best friend. His loss is felt deeply.
In accordance with the wishes of the family, cremation has taken place. Jeff’s family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St. for a Celebration of Life gathering on Tuesday May 9 between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
