Ewald was happily married for 51 years and was a great family man.
He was born in Germany and emigrated to Canada when he was in his twenties. After travelling the world as a Chef on boats for several years he proceeded to run a Fishing Tackle and Bait store with his family. He had a great love of animals especially his dog Fouie who absolutely adored each other.
He enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels everyday. Eddie also had a great love for horses . Another great interest was anything to do with space travel. Joked many times about travelling to the moon. He enjoyed several vacations to Mexico with family. He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed talking to people and telling stories.
Ewald was loved by all his family very much and he will always and forever be in our hearts .
He will indeed be missed deeply but we are thankful to know that he is happy in Heaven with the Lord.
A private celebration of Eddie’s life with family will he held at a later date. Interment Niagaras Lakeshore Cemetery.
