Obituary of Anne Barbara MacLeod

MACLEOD, Anne, age 81- Passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023 with her loving family by her side.  Her faith carried her through her brief illness with grace and dignity. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 65 years, Byron ( Bud) MacLeod, her daughters Barb      (Tim) Snell, Carrie MacLeod ( Ian) Millen, Charlene (Mike) Howe and Cherie (Richard) Panetta. Her surviving siblings, Victoria Markham and Tony Zapotochny, both of St Catharines.  

Nee Nee will be missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anne worked for Sears for many years and formed some life long friends while there. Her group of friends had many wonderful trips and adventures together. Anne and Bud had many happy retirement years as snowbirds. They spent many winters with their Florida friends and lived life to the fullest. Anne was always ready for a game of cards or the next activity. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 316 Queenston Street, St. Catharines on Monday, April 17th at 11a.m. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow.
