Obituary of Marilyn Ann Richardson
Peacefully at Upper Canada Lodge on Monday, March 6, 2023 in her 89th year. She is now reunited with her husband, Frank (2012), daughter Carol (2018), and grandson Trent (2003). Loving mother to James, Janet (Vic Stone), Robert (Pamela), and Patricia. Grandma to Hilary and Meredith Aiken, Tiffany and Trista Richardson, Angela, Daniel, and Paul Stone, Kassandra, Codi-Lee, and Jessica Richardson, Sondra, Grant, Brandon Snider, and Brittany Richardson. Great-Grandmother to thirteen great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Bill, and sister Eleanor. She is survived by her siblings, Jim Dowd, Ken Dowd, and Gerry Dowd. Marilyn will be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marilyn was a longtime member of St. Alfred’s Church, the Catholic Women’s League, and the Lincoln Snowmobile Club.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Upper Canada Lodge for their excellent care.
Friends and family will be welcomed on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 12-1pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines.Funeral service will take place at 1pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow.
