Obituary of Frank Klaver

KLAVER, Franciscus “Frank”
January 6, 1934 – March 2, 2023

After a short illness, Frank passed away peacefully on March 2, 2023. Beloved partner of Anne Custers, loving father of Gina (Schuggy and Johnny V), Stephen (Elaine), treasured grandfather of Alexander (Christine), Stephanie (Steve), Colton and Johnny, and great-grandfather of Christabel and Mila. He will be remembered by his extended Crawford family. Frank is survived by his sisters Theresa and Wilhelmina. 

Frank retired from CN Rail in 1990. He served in the Royal Dutch Navy, and was an honourary member of the Knights of Columbus (Hennepin Council 1652). He had a passion for cooking and travel. 

Frank’s family will receive guests at a visitation on Friday March 10, 2023 from 10am-12pm at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines with a Funeral Service taking place at the funeral home at 12pm.
