Obituary of Angus Joseph Carroll
Carroll, Angus Joseph (Joe), 84, of St. Catharines, passed away suddenly on February 21, 2023.
Born in Beauly, Antigonish Co., Nova Scotia on September 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Richard and Mary Catherine (Cameron) Carroll.
Joe was a soft spoken, loving family man who was liked by all. He was a devoted husband and father. Joe was looked up to by many and his quick wit kept us on our toes. He didn't have many hobbies but loved collecting, arguing politics without being political and listening to fiddle music.
Joe is survived by his wife, Linda (Amirault) of 56 years of marriage and his two daughters, Heidi and Heather (Jeff) Conners with their children Emilie and Angus (Desiree) and great granddaughter Faeryn; siblings, Jimmie (Emily), Dede (late Joe) Kelly, MaryKate (Clarence) Farrell, Mae (Robert) Rennie, Theresa and sister in-law Mary (Danny) and brother in-law Albert (Elaine) Amirault with daughter April (Raoul) Smith and their children; and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers, Johnny (Margie), Danny and Alexander; and sisters, Mary Ellen (Bud) MacDonald, Anna (Ray) Murphy and Mary Margaret.
In Memoriam, the family wishes the support of the Canadian Blood Services.
