Obituary of Henny Stienstra (Bakker)
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Hendrika (Henny) Stienstra (Bakker) on February 17, 2023 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Loving wife of the late Andries Stienstra. Cherished mother of Elsa (Jack), Jake (Janet), Rita and Andre (Jo). Devoted grandmother to Josh (Mallory), Amanda (Justin), Peter (Kathy), Mike, Frank (Melissa) and Andy (Amanda). She will be greatly missed by her 8 great-grandchildren, her sister Jopie (Joe) and her nephews John (Shiela), Joe (Laura) and Rick (Kelly).
Henny will be lovingly remembered for her warm heart and kindness, her love of baking, music and dancing. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the wonderful staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Henny’s life will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, ON on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 1 to 3pm. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stoke Foundation.
