Obituary of Bill Laing
The family are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Bill Laing on Wednesday, January 18th 2023, surrounded by family at his home in his 73rd year. Bill leaves behind his cherished wife, Jocelyn of 49 years; children: Iain and Craig (Yanli) Laing; brothers Gordon (Anne) and Allan (Amanda); in-laws: Libby, Penny, Holly (Jeff), Jackie, Richard (Tess) and Kim (Gary); many nieces and nephews and friends. Bill was a lover of music, golf and happy hour with his friends. He was a retired electrician with CNP after many years of work. In accordance with Bill’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and the family welcome guests for a time of visitation on Wednesday, January 25th from 1:30PM-4:00PM with a celebration of life to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in memory of Bill would be greatly appreciated.
