Obituary of Constantin Apostolu
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Constantin ‘Gus’ Apostolu on Friday, January 13 2023 surrounded by his entire family and close friends at the age of 83. Gus leaves behind his cherished wife, Vassiliki ‘Bessy’ Apostolu of 41 years; loving children: Athanasio Apostolu (Rosalba Faro), Dimitri Dimitrakopoulos (Helen), Savvas Apostolu and Sandi (Tom) Condos; grandchildren: Nina, Constantino, Victoria, Leo, Nicola, Billy, Athena, Kosta and great-granddaughter Sofia; his brother, Argiris (Voula) in Greece, as well as many sisters and brothers-in law, nieces and nephews in Greece and in Canada. In accordance with Gus’ wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family wish to invite friends and family for a time of visitation on Monday, January 16th 2023 from 4:00PM-9:00PM at the funeral home with no formal service. Please consider making donations in honour of Gus to the St. Katharine Greek Orthodox Church. Cremation to follow.
