Obituary of Mario Lorito
Passed away peacefully on New Year's Eve at the Niagara Health - St. Catharines site after 97 years of a rewarding and adventurous life. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 58 years Lida. Loving father of Frank (Sandi) Lorito, Anna (Fred) Mol and John (Lisa) Lorito. Cherished grandfather of Jody, Joyceln, Brad, Bethanney, Kailey, Matthew, Meghan and Jeremy and great-grandfather of Nate, Colton, Zachary, Linkin, Archer and Miles. Mario was a proud veteran of World War II, a long-time civil servant with Canada Customs, Statistics Canada and the Canada Employment Centre as well as a former Treasurer of Club Roma. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. Family and friends will be received at the George Darte Funeral Home 585 Carlton St., on Thursday January 5, 2023 from 6-8p.m. If so desired, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be greatly appreciated.
