Obituary of Gertrude Mary Kilgour

KILGOUR, Gertrude Mary (nee Canavan) - Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday, December 11th, 2022 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Jim for 58 years. Devoted mother of Lori (Brian), James (Candace) and Katie. Loving Nana of Isaac, Jack, Charlotte and Bronwyn. Loving aunt of Michael Chaloner (Julie) and Trudy Chaloner (Mike). Loving sister in law of Warren Chaloner. Cherished sister of the late Karen Chaloner. Loving sister in law of Robert Kilgour (Constance). Predeceased by her parents Johnny and Viola Canavan. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL  HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday December 18th  from 1-3p.m. & 6-8p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Sunday at 2p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, 169 St. Paul Crescent, St. Catharines on Monday, December 19th at 11:00a.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
