Obituary of Peter Neprily
Peacefully at home as he wanted, surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022. Finally reunited with his beloved wife Ginger (2016) Survived by his son and best buddy Mike (Natalie) and daughter Chris Lennie (Tom). He was proud grandfather to Ashleigh & Samantha (Richard), Tommy (Miranda), Matt (Brianne) and Danny. Great grandfather to Lily and Delilah. He was lucky to have found companionship with Lorraine to share his last few years. Survived by brother Paul. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Mary and his brother Mike. He also leaves behind many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to list.
Peter was a member of the Free Mason Lodge and Loyal Order of Moose. He was a proud GM employee for 30 years retiring in 1994 from plant 2. he was also owner/operator of Pete's Equipment Repair and Welding for 56 years until retiring completely in 2016. His greatest joy came from "Puttering" around the shop. He instilled a love of camping, cottaging, fishing and hunting in his children from the beginning. He and Ginger traveled extensively throughout their lives which brought them much joy. More recently he loved his outings to the casino with Lorraine (where he always seemed to have lots of luck) and spend time with his family.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jeremy Child for going above and beyond for our Dad and family over the years. Also, Stacey from LIHN for co-ordinating supplies and care so quickly so we could keep Dad at home as he wished.
The Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, December 7th from 11am to 1pm. A Final Tribute for Peter will follow at 1pm. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery
