Uncle Clarence and family: My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have so many wonderful memories of my "aunt Irene". She was a beautiful person. She made me laugh, made me smile.... but couldn't get me to sleep :) I will miss her.

My heart goes out to Clarence, Karen, Richard, Brady and all of Irene's family and many friends. I will remember Irene for her kindness, humour and generosity. Irene and Clarence welcomed me into their home as one of the family and we shared many good times. You will be dearly missed, Irene.
With love

We are thinking of you as you grieve the loss of Irene - your wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was our "Ontario Mom" during our university days. Although at that time we thought we were too old for mothering, Irene knew better and took such good care of us! In more recent years we were able to visit with our children and they were immediately welcomed and loved. Such a kind heart. May the many good memories bring you comfort during this time. All our love, Charlotte and Greg

My condolences to Clarence and family. I will always remember Irene as much more than a caregiver....she was our 'aunt' and we adored her. She was such a loving and kind lady, and a wonderful cook! I feel fortunate to have had her touch my life!

Welcoming Home
Irene and Clarence always made me feel at home and part of the family. I spent many a sleepover with Cathy and fondly remember the wonderful meals and sweets that Irene made for us and the laughter that filled their home. My heartfelt condolences to Clarence, Karen and their family.

Kind and Gentle
Irene was our second mom growing up. We remember her always happy especially when in the kitchen cooking, canning, baking and feeding people. She made awesome yummy treats and had a way with making even kraft dinner taste good.Irene and Clarence, and Cathy and Karen were not just good neighbors, they were like family. We remember Irene as being very generous and caring and a positive role model, always smiling, and always happy. Irene, you will be missed and you will forever be in our thoughts and prayers. Love Francine and Stephen
