Obituary of Hilda Buchwitz

BUCHWITZ, Hilda (née Lachelt) - It is with great sadness that our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Hilda Buchwitz, aged 97 passed away peacefully on November 25, 2022 at Heidehof in St. Catharines.  Beloved wife of Helmut Buchwitz and loving mother to Monika McSwiggan (husband Peter) and Irla Landry.  Dear grandmother to Jaclyn (husband Jamie) Grimmon, Colin McSwiggan (wife Nancy), Corey Landry (wife Natalie), Megan Trice (husband Wesley), Kyle Landry (wife Casey), and proud great grandmother of 9.
Hilda is forever in the hearts of many extended family and friends.  In keeping with her wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL, 585 Carlton St., St. Cartharines.  The family invites guests for visitation on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 5:30 -7:30 PM and a service at Grace Lutheran Church 213 Linwell Rd., St. Catharines on Wednesday, November 30th at 10:30 AM with burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donation to your favorite charity in memory of Hilda.
