Obituary of Kelly Irene Girouard
It is with profound sadness that the family announce the passing of their dear Kelly Girouard on Thursday, November 17th 2022 in her forever 49th year. Kelly leaves behind her cherished mother, Maria; loving father Archie (late); sister Jasmine; aunts and uncles, Laurie-Anne (James), Victoria, Sharon, Ron (Carol), RoseMarie (Richard), Jacqueline, Roland (Darlene), late uncle Roderick and late aunt Vicky.
Predeceased by her prayerful Nana (Ben).
Kelly leaves many cousins, including her closest cousin, Melanie (Greg) and many more family members. Maria wishes to give great gratitude to Elaine (nee, Moskal) for bringing Kelly into the world. There were many aspects of Kelly’s life that brought joy to her, photography, design, travelling to over 26 countries, and her work family at One Restaurant where she was the Assistant General Manager for several years and where she met many friends along the way. Kelly was admired by her strength, courage, and bravery in her battle of cancer. The family appreciate the much loving care by Dr. J. Bisson and the oncology team.
Kelly is Heaven Bound with a one-way ticket.
In keeping with her wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family invites family and friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, November 22nd 2022 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, November 24th 2022 at 10:30AM at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria. No burial to take place, and if desired, please consider providing to those in need by making donations to St. Vincent de Paul.
