MacLaurin, Ruth Ann (Turner)
On Thursday November 3, 2022 beloved wife, mother, and grand-mother passed away peacefully at home at the age of 64. Dear wife of David MacLaurin, and mother of Robert (Kristen), Jeffrey (Cassandra), and Michelle (Joe). Grandmother to Paisley, Avery, Mason, Anna, and baby Nicholls (on the way). She is also survived by her brother Harry and brother Tom (Rose) as well as many nieces and nephews. Born in Toronto to parents Harry & Geraldine Turner, Ruth later moved to Niagara and married Dave in 1980. Ruth was happiest surrounded by her family & pets with a book in her hand up north at the cottage. The family would like to thank the support staff & nurses at Bayshore Home Health, Juravinski Hospital, Huntsville District Memorial Hospital, George Darte Funeral Chapel, Dr. Ronald Ireland, and the many family and friends that came to visit and offered their support.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of life at Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery, 3210 Staff Avenue, Jordan, ON, L0R 1S0 on Thursday November 10 from 2pm – 6pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Rankin Cancer Run, or Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.
