Obituary of Carole Simmonds
After an incredibly fast and intense battle with Glioblastoma, we announce the sudden passing of Carole Simmonds (nee. Morris), at Hospice Niagara. Carole was the daughter of the the late Annie & George Morris, formally of Bentley, Yorkshire, England.
Carole was the loving wife of 60 years to Eric; mom to Jayne & Hans, Paul & Kim, and Julie & Wayne. Grandma to her 9 grandchildren (Rachael, Alicia ,Emily, Marissa, Kate, Leanna. Ben, Trey & Jaiden. and 6 great children, Oliver, Leo, Ivy, Aubrey, Aria, & Levi and Baby Dopp in December. Predeceased by her parents , as well as her sister, Joyce.
Family and Friends can gather for visitation on Thursday, October 6, from 6-8pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, October 7 at 11am at the funeral home. For those wishing to attend virtually, please click on the livestream link below.
