Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Saturday September 24th. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years Kevin, son John (Elaine), daughter Joanne (Steve) and brother Les Westlake (Linda). Adoring grandmother to Molly, Katharine, Hannah and Madelene, who brought her such great joy. Always active, she enjoyed bowling, curling, golfing and most recently aquafit with friends. Retired from Sears after 20 years of service. She had the great fortune of many wonderful friends to travel and enjoy good times. The family would like to extend our gratitude to the caring and thoughtful support from the oncology team at St. Catharines General Hospital and to Dr. Child for his care and attention. Visitation will be held Wednesday September 28th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. A private family funeral will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or Walker Family Cancer Center.
