Obituary of Rina Bagazzoli

RINA BAGAZZOLI

June 11, 1931 to September 8, 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and grandmother on September 8, 2022. Beloved daughter of the late Serafino and Rosa Galoni. Predeceased by her cherished husband Ivo (1994), whom she missed every day.  Survived by her daughter Rose (Vincenzo) and her precious granddaughter, Andrea Christine.

Born in Terro, Province of Macerata, mom joined her husband in 1954 to start their wonderful life in St. Catharines.  She worked at Boese Cannery for over 30 years, creating many friendships.  Her life revolved around her family and of course her garden.

The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 11-12 pm. A Final Tribute for Rina will follow in the Ceremony Room of the funeral home at 12 pm. Entombment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined,  donations made to Heart & Stroke Foundations or the Canadian Cancer Society in Rina's memory would be appreciated by her family.  We would also like to thank Dr. Chan and Pattie for their care and kindness.  Also, many thanks to River Road Retirement Home where mom enjoyed 6 years and made many friends and was well taken care of.

After all of these years, you are now with Dad.  Enjoying gardening in Heaven!  Always loved, never forgotten.
