Michaud, Jeanne "Berthe" nee Dugas

Peacefully on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at NHS St. Catharines Site. Berthe, beloved mother of Dana (Pam), Mia (Nick) Russell, Marcel (Christine), Pierre (Helena), Jacques (Shari), Jacqueline (Mark) Smith and Cyril. Cherished  grandmother of 11 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Sister of Anita Jean, Martial (Stella) Dugas and sister-in-law of Dorothy Dugas. Predeceased by her parents Nicholas Dugas and Josephine Lantainge, her brothers Yves, JeanClaude, her sisters Therese Legere, Simon Doiron, Claudia Gionet and Edith and her granddaughter Lauren.

Mom was very proud of her Acadian heritage. Born in Caraquet, New Brunswick and settling in St. Catharines. She loved to cook "Does meat pies" and loved having family and friends for all types of celebrations.

As per Berthe wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, August 19th from 10 - 11 a.m.  A Final Tribute for Berthe will follow at 11 a.m. in the Ceremony Room of the funeral home.

Donations made in Berthe's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by her family.
