1932 – 2022
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the short and peaceful passing of Lillian Lampitt on August 1, 2022 at Douglas Memorial Hospital. In her 89th year Lillian was deeply loved and will be greatly missed especially by her little dog Gizmo. Lillian leaves behind 4 children, Bridgette Bilodeau (James), Susan Herrmann (Peter), Mardy Crandell (Billie), Roy Villers (Laurie). Grandchildren, Ashley, Jordon, Todd, Amanda, Ryan, Hugh Jr, Kody, Brady, Arley, Tawny and 6 great grand children.
Predeceased by her cherished partner Frank Morabito (2019)
Daughters Debbie Bromley (2017) and Terry Crandell (2022)
Lillian spent her life giving back as a full time volunteer at Community Care for 33 years receiving the Margaret Bake Volunteer of Distinction Award, She also played the organ for many years at the Church of God in Fonthill and loved to go dancing.
The family will receive relatives and friends at George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 585 Carlton Street on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Lillian’s life will take place in the ceremony room of the funeral home on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Care or a charity of your choice.
