Obituary of Bonnie Pudsey
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvonne (Bonnie) Pudsey (nee Beach) at Shangri-La Family Campground, St. Catharines on July 23, 2022 at the age of 82. Loving wife of 61 years to Dalton “Bud” Pudsey. Dear sister to Stella (Laurie), Nancy, Janice (Jim) and Brother-in-Law Gary. Predeceased by her parents Stan & Roberta Beach, sisters Laura and Doreen, brothers-in-law Dale, Blair, Charlie and Paul; sister-in-law Shirley Anne. Loving aunt/great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born in Kentville NS in 1940, where she met and married the love of her life. Shortly thereafter they made their way to Ontario and eventually settled in St. Catharines, where she mastered the art of floral designing (for 30+ years) at Vine Floral. Together for 40+ years they spent summers at Shangri-La. Bonnie will be remembered for her creativity in her gardens and her love and knowledge of birds. Everyone was always welcome at her home, the trailer and her heart. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and the family invite guests for a visitation on Thursday, July 28th 2022 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at the funeral home with a funeral service to follow at 1:00PM with no burial. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the McNally House Hospice in honour of Bonnie.
