Obituary of John Werstroh

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the age of 93. He is now reunited with his wife of 64 years, Marie (2015). Loving father of Rob (Joanne), Ron, and Jamie. Cherished grandpa to Derek (Claudia), Christie (Brandon), Shannyn, Jenna, and Austyn, and great-grandpa to Logan, Asa, Parker, and baby-on-the-way. Brother to Vi Michlik (Milan), and Lena Neufeld (the late Cornelius).

John was devoted to caring for Marie, and absolutely loved his time spent with his grandkids and great-grandkids.

Special thanks to the staff at Niagara Gardens for their excellent care over the last few years.

A ceremony to honour John’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 13^, 2022 at 11am at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines followed by interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Arthritis Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by John’s family.
