Obituary of Mary Glumac

GLUMAC, Maria- Passed away on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022 at the West Hills Care Centre at the age of 89. Born in Lastovo, Croatia. Beloved wife of John. Cherished mother Peter (Cheryl), Rina (Greg), John (Betty) and Stephen. Loving Nonna of Kata (Shelby), Maya (Brad), the late Arden, Andrea (Antoni), Kristopher, Pierce, Carter and Reed. Great Nonna of Blake, Kylan, Noah, Jakson and Everett. Sister of Joanne ( Gerry) Puopolo and George Lesich. Predeceased by her sister Andrina and her brother Joe. Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Maria was a member of the Catholic Women's League and a founding member of the Croation National Center. She was an avid gardener who loved cooking and spending time with her family. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, June 28th from 1-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 3:30p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, June 29th at 11a.m. Entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
