Obituary of Eleanor Stella Sajur
Eleanor Sajur passed away peacefully on Saturday June 18, 2022 at Niagara Health Centre, St. Catharines Site at the age of 96 with her daughter Sandra, and granddaughter Andrea by her side. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Sajur & predeceased son Richard. Loving mother of Christine, and Sandra (Andrew). Loving Babcia to Andrea (John) and Loving Great Babcia to Adelyn and Jack, and predeceased by grandson Trevor. Remembered by her son Eugene (Joanne) and the Sajur Family. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Irene Charkowy, Jean Smith, and predeceased by her brothers Joseph & Stan Stachura, and sister Mary Broda.
Eleanor was born in Krakow, Poland. She had a heart of gold, known for her big smile and having a good laugh. She had a passion for baking and cooking, saving new recipes, and watching Lidia’s Kitchen Cooking Show. She dedicated years being a part of the Polish Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Family would like to thank the Staff of Linhaven for their care these past few years as well as the Palliative Care Staff at the St Catharines Hospital for their care, & support in her final days. Cremation has taken place and Mass & Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
