Friday, May 20th, 2022


On May 20th, 2022,
Roy passed away suddenly in his 71st year, in the place that he adored, surrounded by the people he loved.
Roy is now joining his beloved wife Shelley.
Dear father to Dann (Lindsay)
Much cherished Papa to Spencer and Aria.
Roy loved the outdoors, classic cars,
the Green Bay Packers and Toronto Blue Jays
and, of course, Pepsi.


And so beside the silent waves,
I wait the muffled oar;
No harm can come to me now
On lake or on shore.

Anchored in the harbour

Upon the sea of peace

Serenity surrounds me

With each wave

That is released

Calm and peaceful waters

Warm embracing winds

Billows blowing in life’s storm

Have ceased from coming in.

The Light of Life 

has guided me

Making the way sure

Anchored in this harbour

To rest for ever more
