Obituary of Jean-Paul Edgar Caron
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean-Paul on Thursday, May 26th 2022. A true family man, Jean-Paul was surrounded by his family when he passed. Cherished husband to Madeleine for 60 years, devoted father to Marc (Barbara) and Daniel (Linda), Tammy-Lynn, and Debora-Ann. Known as Papa and Grandpa to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean-Paul is survived by his sisters, Muriel and Jackie. Known as both a favourite uncle and ‘second father’ to many, Jean-Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Special thanks to the nurses and PSWs at Linhaven for their care of Jean-Paul, also known as “The Hockey Guy of Linhaven” for the past eleven years.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 2nd 2022 from 10am-12pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St, St. Catharines. Funeral Service will take place at 12pm in the funeral home ceremony room with a reception to follow. As a tribute to Jean-Paul, please consider wearing hockey attire to his funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
