It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Dorothy on Monday, May 16, 2022 in her 82nd year. She is now reunited with her husband Fred (2021) and son David (2007). Loved and cherished mother to Wendy (Larry) Small, Patricia Kiernicki (Johny), and Sharrie Warrington (Gary). Loving grandmother to Shannon, Brent, Tyler, Eric (Katelyn), Kyle, David, Krysta (Donnie), Kayla (Matt), Kara (Brad), Dalton (Emma), Kyla, and Ryan. Great-grandmother to Cole, Caiden, Hadleigh, Addison, Grayson, Riley, Sofia, Elliah, Hazel, and Haisley.
Dorothy was a longtime employee with OJC/Woodbine Entertainment Group retiring after 37 years of service. Family was everything to Dorothy, and she loved spending time with them whenever she could, however she could.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 19th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St, St. Catharines. Funeral service will take place in the Ceremony Room on Friday, May 20th at 11am with a reception and interment to follow. For those wishing to attend virtually, a Livestream link will be available on the funeral home website.
