Obituary of Irena Tymczak
Surrounded by her family, Irena passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the age of 90. She is now reunited with her husband Adolf (2003). Loving mother to; Roman (Dorota), Wiesia (Tadeusz), and Bogdan (Bozenka). Devoted Babcia to; Isabella, Agnieszka (Tim), Marta (Will), Kamila, Kuba (Kasia), and Kamil (Vanessa). Great-Babcia to; AJ, Ella, Cole, Christian, and Penelope. She will be greatly missed by her entire family here and in her beloved Poland.
Irena and her late husband came to Canada in 2002 to be near their children. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and being surrounded by nature.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines with Vigil Prayers at 6pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022 at 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with interment at Victoria Lawn Cemeter to follow. Reception at Club Roma, 125 Vansickle Road, St. Catharines following interment.
