Obituary of Roger Robert Smith

Suddenly, doing what he loved the best, riding his bike enjoying the fine spring weather on Sunday, April 17th, 2022. Roger, beloved husband of Marlene for 64 years. Dear father of Robert (Bernadette), Leslie (Reg), Melanie (Stu) and Maria who was like a daughter to him and was raised with the family. Papa of Corey, Candace, Madeline, Sarah, Shannon, Nicole, Kaylee, Katelin and 5 great grandchildren. Remembered by his sister Shirley and her family and his former son-in-law Steve. The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines 905-937-4444 on Monday, April 25 from 12, noon. A Final Tribute to Celebrate Roger's life will be held in the ceremony room at 1pm. Inurnment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
