Obituary of Joanne May Hemphill
On April 11th 2022, we had to say goodbye to the Big Boss, Joanne May Hemphill (Sawchuk) who passed away with family by her side in the comfort of her home. Joanne leaves behind her beloved Sons, Corey (Beth) Hemphill, Ray (Lori) Hemphill; cherished grandchildren Carter, Katie, Douglas, Wesley and Caitlee; greatly missed by her siblings, Jack, Shirley and Gail and many friends and extended family at Extendicare. Jo worked in health care for over 35 years and in that time, exhibited kindness, tough love and dedication to her friends and family. Jo was known for being fun-loving and having a good time, she will never be forgotten by all who knew her. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place, and the family wish to invite guests for visitation on Saturday April 23rd, 2022 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM.
