Obituary of Carol Anne Cullen

CULLEN, Carol Anne (nee Lowery) On Saturday September 15, 2012 in her 76th year of life, Carol was granted her angel†™s wings after a brief but courageous battle with lymphoma. Carol will be forever missed by Brian, her beloved husband of 57 years and forever in the hearts of her children Cindy (Cameron) Beaton, Carrie (Mark) Sherk, Bob (Lorraine) and Brian (Robin) and her son-in-law Paul Harvey. Carol was predeceased by her loving daughter Christine (1999) and her dear sister Mary-Lou (2004). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Stephanie, Sean (Yvonne), Brandon (Liz), Ashley (Luke), Raeline, Brian, Brianne, Jennifer, Brent, Blake, Caroline and Spencer and by her great†"grandchildren Tanner, Trent, Ella, Annika and Molly. She will be dearly missed by her trusted friend and companion Arlene. Carol was a woman of great courage and strength. She will be resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines where visitation will be held on Tuesday September 18 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Carol†™s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the physicians, nurses, staff and volunteers at Hospice Niagara for the kindness and care given to Carol and her family during their stay with them. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Hospice Niagara would be greatly appreciated by her family.
