Obituary of Ida Tapp

 

Safe in the arms of Jesus

 

It is with heavy hearts the family of Ida Tapp sadly announce her passing on the date of March 28th 2022 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the tender age of 103. Ida leaves behind her cherished daughters, Ola (Milford) Lemieux, Louella (John) Logan, Lois Claringbold and Marlene (Peter) Rosely; grandchildren, Judy (Ken), Wanda (Todd), Jason, Jennifer (Doug), Justin (Andrea) and Jordan (Ashley) and Sandi (Donny); great-grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Samantha (Quinn), Alexis, Cameron, Kamea, Lucas, Jaxon, Oliver Hayley, Bradley, and Russell. Ida was predeceased by her husband John (1990); daughter Chella and great-grandson Connor. The family extends their gratitude to the March of Dimes for their loving care as well to China Garden for all their kindness.

 

In keeping with Ida’s wishes, cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family invite guests for visitation on Monday, April 4th from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM with a funeral service in the funeral home ceremony room at 11:00AM Tuesday, April 5th 2022. A burial will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Please consider making donations in honour of Ida to either the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
