Obituary of Czeslaw Osakowicz
OSAKOWICZ, Czeslaw “Chester”
It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of our dear Husband, Tata and Dziadzio. Czeslaw passed away on Ash Wednesday, March 2, 2022, surrounded by the love of his family. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years Jolanta, his sons Kaz (Debunia) and Rick (Basia). Grandchildren Celina, Andrew (Samantha), Matthew, Nicholas and Noah. He is survived by 2 sisters Stanislawa and Helena, many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends both in Poland and Canada. He is predeceased by his brothers Wacek, Janusz and his sister Janina.
In 1966 Czeslaw, his wife Jolanta and their son Kaz arrived in their new homeland, Canada. The following year they welcomed their 2nd son Rick. Czeslaw retired from ITT Aimco with 23 years of service. He was dedicated to family and was happiest spending time with his children and grandchildren. Czeslaw was devoted to his Catholic faith and Polish community.
Heartfelt gratitude to the care team at Garden City Manor and Dr. Wan for their kindness, compassion, support and smiles that brightened Czeslaw 's stay for 3 years. A special thank you to his niece Marysia who dedicated herself to make Czeslaw’s stay more comfortable. She is truly a blessing to our family. The family would also like to acknowledge their appreciation to Fr. Hugh for his blessing.
