Obituary of Loretta DeSantis
DeSANTIS Albina (Loretta) - Passed away peacefully in her sister's arms on Thursday April 12, 2012 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital, in her 69th year.
Loretta's memory will be cherished by her sisters Margie, Gina and Patty, brothers Vance, John, Peter and Chris, sisters in law Donna, Ginny, Cheryl and Heather and brothers in law Ange, Steve and Craig. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, her lifelong friend Maggie Smith, extended family and many friends.
Predeceased by her parents Angelo and Mildred, her brother Fred, and her sisters Mary Ellen and Angela. Loretta was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday April 15 from 2-4 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church on Monday at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
If so desired, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
