Obituary of Charles Anthony Paris
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of a true gentleman. Charles Anthony Paris left us unexpectedly on Friday, February 4, 2022. He was a devoted husband for 48 years to the love of his life, Barbara.
The love and pride he had for his sons was evident in every aspect of his life. He will be desperately missed by Neil (Kirsten), Jamie (Nicole), Michael (Melanie), and Robert (Stephanie). His beautiful blue eyes lit up at the very mention of his beloved grandchildren Reid, Turner, Lillian, Jack, Clive, and a much anticipated baby boy due in March. As a longtime Toronto Raptors fan, Charles joked that we would soon have our own starting lineup.
Charles was the middle son of three brothers, eldest John (Linda) and younger brother Tim (the late Jenny). He was a much respected uncle to his 6 nieces. He is predeceased by his parents Bob and Jessie Paris and his in-laws Jack and Molly Hill.
Charles was a gentleman and a gentle man, quiet by nature, and loving by nurture. He was a big sports fan and liked to coach from the bench, the bleachers, or the comfort of his couch.
Charles loved and was loved and we all believe that he died a very happy man.
Although we will miss him forever, the family will cherish all of their memories of him with fondest love for eternity.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines 905-937-4444 from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
