KUCHAR, Bohdanna "Danna"
On 28 January 2022, God was searching for an angel to join His heavenly choir and He found His soprano. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bohdanna (Danna) Kuchar who was in her 95th year. She will always be remembered for her smile that would light up any room, her generous heart and love of sharing coffee and sweets with family and friends. Danna is predeceased by her loving husband Marvin (Marian) Kuchar and is survived by her children; Sonia, Roma, Walter (Andrea); grandchildren Sonia (Joseph), Vanessa, Bianca, Stefan, Paul (Kristen); great-granddaughters Emily and Barbara; and her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 3-5 pm with Panachyda at 3 p.m.Those wishing to attend the Visitation and Funeral must RSVP to the funeral home (905) 937-4444 as capacity is limited. All guests must show proof of double Covid-19 vaccination to attend the Visitation, including photo identification in adherence with current Ontario Mandates. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 14 Rolls Ave., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church or to a charity of your choice.
