Sending condolences to Mary Anne, Jim and Kenneth and all Willie's family. Marie and Willie always made us very welcome when we visited Canada on holiday and he loved to hear all about the McColgan family back here in Scotland. It's very sad to lose both parents so close together. I will join the live service and be thinking of you all. I know Catherine and Alastair will miss Willie very much. xx

We are all so saddened by the loss of my cousin Bill. He and Marie were our extended family.
Bill ‘gave me away’ when Alastair and I married Sept. 12/81. My Father had died 6 months prior and so Alastair and I were very happy when Bill fulfilled that role. It was especially great that my Mum and Aunt Mary, (Bill’s 1st cousins) were at our wedding, along with my sister Pat and her children.
Later on when we had children of our own, we spent many happy Sundays with Bill and Marie at 86 Greenmaple.
They also enjoyed coming to see us in Oakville or the 4 of us going out for dinner. When my family came for visits, we always made sure to invite BIll and Marie and they loved that.
It is with a very heavy heart that I will no longer be able to hear Bill say ‘What’s happening in Old Kilpatrick’?
God Bless Bill, I’m sure him and Marie are together again.
Catherine, Alastair,Lauren and Sean.
