It is with sadness I was told about the passing of Dennis. I first knew him through school, that would be Grantham High School way back in the day. We also played football together as he became the school kicker, and a good one at that. After high school we met again at Port Weller Dry Docks where we were both employed and then he went onto Generous Motors (as he used to call it). I was lucky enough to be invited over to his place in Virgil a few nights after work for great card and board games along with a few other work acquaintances. I remember Dennis as a kind and generous person. Along the way, we also wound up playing broomball together with some great memories of that as well. I had seen him sporadically over the years but admittedly, haven't seen him lately, at least over the past couple of decades. Again, with sadness reading of his passing and my condolences to his sister and remaining family members.

Dear Nancy & Bob,
I am so sad to hear about Denny, the boy next door as your Dad would say. He was such a great guy, always smiling and I can still hear his laugh….I will truly miss him, and the times we had together. Sending you both my deepest condolences, xo
Love Janet (Heit) Gabriele

My condolences to Nancy and her family over the loss of Dennis. While we were not close, "back in the day", it is very sad to read about a classmate passing away.
