Obituary of Dimitra Balaskas
With her family by her side, Dimitra passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2021. Loving wife of Sokrates for 50 years. Cherished mother to George and Joanne.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 from 4-8pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The Thrice Holy Hymn Service\Trisagio and the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021 at 12:30pm at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church with the final Thrice Holy Hymn Service\ Trisagio Service to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
Proof of vaccination and identification is required for those who wish to attend the visitation at the funeral home. For those wishing to attend the Thrice Holy Hymn Service\Trisagio and the Funeral Service, please RSVP to the funeral home at 905-937-4444 as capacity is limited. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated by the family.
