Obituary of Lorraine Prisilla Hawkins
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lorraine Prisilla Hawkins announce her passing after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease with her one and only daughter at her side. Lorraine is survived by her loving daughter, Tammy and favourite son-in-law, Tony D’Abramo; grandchildren: Aaron (Shiann), Nicole, Noah and great-grandson Weston. Lorraine is predeceased by her cherished husband, Barry, her parents and four siblings. Lorraine was a devoted Christian who enjoyed bible study, walking and being with her family. The family wish to give their appreciation and much thanks to all of the amazing staff at Meadows of Dorchester for their wonderful care and compassion. If desired, please consider making donations in honour of Lorraine to the Alzheimer’s Society.
In keeping with Lorraine’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St. The family wish to invite friends and family to the funeral home for a time of gathering beginning at 11:00AM November 24th, followed by a 12:00PM funeral in our ceremony room. A burial will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
For those attending Lorraine’s funeral service, please wear a mask and provide proof of double vaccination as well as personal identification.
